Financial Assistance Information

Multiple financial aid avenues may be available to support the course work required for an Indiana Youth Development Credential.  Be sure to check with your employer to see if professional development funds can be accessed. Talk with your university financial aid officer  to explore the resources that they  have to offer. Additional resources that you may be eligible are listed below.

T.E.A.C.H (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps Early Childhood) Early Childhood® INDIANA

To be eligible for the T.E.A.C.H. assistance individuals must:

1. Be an Indiana resident
2. Be at least 18 years of age
3. Working at least 30 hours per week or more, documented by a pay stub
4. Working in a licensed, registered or legally exempt child care facility
5. Making under $12.00 per hour as a teacher or teacher assistant. Must be making under $15.00 per hours as a Director or Administrator
6. Must be willing to commit to stay in the field
