IYD Credential - Scholarship/Financial Assistance Information

Scholarship
T.E.A.C.H (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps Early Childhood) Early Childhood® INDIANA Scholarships are currently available for individuals who work with children 8 years of age and younger. These scholarships support 80% of the cost for courses and books plus 70% of the $325 IYD Assessment fee.

To be eligible for the T.E.A.C.H. scholarship individuals must:

1. Be an Indiana resident
2. Be at least 18 years of age
3. Working at least 30 hours per week or more, documented by a pay stub
4. Working in a licensed, registered or legally exempt child care facility
5. Making under $12.00 per hour as a teacher or teacher assistant. Must be making under $15.00 per hours as a Director or Administrator
6. Must be willing to commit to stay in the field
